Many piercings are fitted with a slightly longer piece of jewellery initially to allow for swelling. Once the swelling has reduced, your jewellery may need to be downsized to ensure a comfortable fit and support proper healing.

Not always. Your anatomy plays an important role in whether certain piercings are suitable.
For some piercings, navel piercings are one of the most common examples, our piercer will need to assess your anatomy before confirming the appointment. Some people simply don’t have the correct anatomy to safely support or heal certain piercings.
In some cases, we may ask you to send clear photographs before your appointment so we can advise whether the piercing is suitable. If a piercing isn’t right for your anatomy, we’ll always explain why and discuss alternative options where possible.
