ABOUT THE ARTIST : HEATHER KAT

What do you love about your job?

I’m a huge people person, and the best part of my job is getting to work closely with my clients to bring their artistic vision to life. I love the design process… getting to know people, exploring their ideas, and having meaningful conversations throughout their session. It’s a real privilege to meet so many incredible humans and create artwork that they’ll carry with them for a lifetime.

What should people know about you?

I’m a proud mum to two chaos-monkey boys, and we also have a pet bearded dragon called Bruno. Outside of tattooing, you’ll usually find me immersed in sci-fi, Discworld novels or listening to everything from classic and alt rock to D’n’B, hiphop and dub. I love conversations that wander into philosophy, science, and theology, and whenever I can, I escape into nature … walking through forests or hiking up big hills.

What do you love about your job?

Working with such amazing women who light up my world and make life worth living. I come into work everyday with a spring in my step and a ‘can do’ attitude. It doesn’t even feel like work – more a version of paradise I never imagined could exisit. I feel like I’ve died and gone to heaven filled with glorious angels.
